The South Carolina Vocational Rehabilitation Department (SCVRD) prepares and assists South Carolinians with disabilities to achieve and maintain competitive employment with individualized services provided at offices around the state.

Once eligibility is established, and depending on your need, services are available to assist you in preparing for, obtaining, retaining, or regaining employment including assessment, training, job search, and followup, post employment job-retention services.

If you receive Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and/or Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI), Benefits Specialists are on hand to counsel you on work incentives and other benefits of working while educating you on the effects of earnings as you plan for employment.
